About
I'm Yang, a Research Scientist at Meta working on computer vision, AR/VR calibration, and ML pipelines. I like digging into the computational and mathematical details that most people skip over.
I've been listening to classical music since I was 11 — obsessively, not casually. I picked up piano along the way, and when a musician friend complained that harmonic analysis was "such a pain," I built a tool to fix it.
Professionally, I spend a lot of time solving depth perception problems. I don't have binocular vision myself, which either makes me the worst person for the job or the most motivated one.
