What it is
ATEK (Aria Training & Evaluation Kit) accelerates ML development on Project Aria’s egocentric vision datasets. It converts VRS-format Aria sensor data into PyTorch-ready WebDataset collections and provides standardized benchmarks for tasks including 3D object detection and surface reconstruction.
What I did
Built as part of Meta Reality Labs Research to reduce the friction between raw Aria data and model training. ATEK handles the preprocessing pipeline so researchers can focus on the models, not the data plumbing.
